About this course
Go from your first model call to AI features people can actually use. Build a streaming translator, a responsive help desk chat, and an agent that can call tools to get work done.
You'll start with TypeScript and finish by bringing the same skills into React, where users can watch answers arrive, see what is happening, and recover when a request fails.
What you'll build and learn
- Generate useful text and structured data from a model
- Stream translations and chat replies into a React interface as they arrive
- Shape responses with instructions and conversation context
- Give an AI agent tools and control how many steps it can take
- Show progress, stop requests, handle errors, and let users retry
- Test model behavior with mocks before relying on a live response
Prerequisites
- Comfortable with TypeScript functions, imports, and
async/await. New to TypeScript? Start with TypeScript Fundamentals (opens in a new tab). - Familiar with React components, state, and forms for the final chapter. Review React Fundamentals (opens in a new tab) if needed.
